Nuix CEO Appointed to OLP Board of Governors
Washington, DC – November 10, 2009 – The Organization of Legal Professionals (OLP) (http://www.theolp.org) announced today its appointment of eddie sheehy, ceo of nuix (http://www.nuix.com), to OLP's Board of Governors.
Sheehy will join a blue ribbon panel of thought leaders in the eDiscovery arena including Browning Marean (DLA Piper); Tom O'Connor; Douglass Mitchell of Boies Schiller; Peter del Valle of Seyfarth Shaw; Ron Friedmann (Integreon); Anne Kershaw; Joe Thorpe (International Litigation Services); Nigel Murray (Trilantic); Professor Jay Grenig (U of Marquette Law School; The Hon. Eddie Sheehy has been the CEO of Nuix since 2006 and has overseen the commercialization of the company’s eDiscovery and electronic investigation software following seven years of research and development in Australia. Developed in collaboration with federal intelligence and security/regulatory agencies as well as legal and litigation support firms, Nuix software offers the world’s fastest and most comprehensive eDiscovery and email investigation software. Born and educated in Ireland, Eddie has 17 years experience in finance and technology management. Prior to joining Nuix, Eddie was a partner at a consulting firm which facilitated major projects and deals for leading technology companies and financial institutions. Eddie also has extensive experience in the investment banking and merger and acquisition industries gained in both Australia and London, prior to his migration to Sydney in 1996. Eddie holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce and a Masters Degree in Finance from the University of Cork (Ireland).
